Sealed or electronic bids for the construction of TRACE STATE PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS (REBID) will be received by the Board of Supervisors for Pontotoc County, Mississippi at the Chancery Clerk Office/County Board Room located at 34 South Liberty St., Pontotoc, MS 38863, until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 and
then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids will be received until the designated date and time at the Pontotoc County Chancery Building, Pontotoc, Mississippi. Electronic bids will be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.esiplans.com

Copies of the plans and documents may be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.

The work shall consist of: Construction of road repairs include earthwork, stone base, and paving.

Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “Bid for: TRACE STATE PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS (REBID), PONTOTOC COUNTY, MS. Any bid in excess of $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this
number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.

A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, PONTOTOC COUNTY, MS, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.

When applicable, bidders are directed to the contract requirement that not less than the minimum wages and salaries set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, in accordance with the Davis-Bacon and Related
Acts. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employment and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or natural origin. Bids may be held up to 60 days from the date of opening for review of bids and qualifications of bidders prior to
Contract award. The Board of SUPERVISORS reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
