P26-010 Trail Bridge Improvements #19479

Sealed or electronic bids will be received by the GM&O Rails-to-Trails Recreational District (District), in Chickasaw, Pontotoc and Union Counties, Mississippi, for Trail Bridge Improvements of the Tanglefoot Trail (MOSTF Project No. BB.007-024) no later than 10:00 a.m., Local Time, February 10, 2026 at the offices of Engineering Solutions, Inc., 180 Magee Drive, Pontotoc, Mississippi. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic bids will also be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.esiplans.com.

The work shall consist essentially of the following items:

Replacement of trail bridge decking and railing and repairs to failed substructure elements as directed.

The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein.

The GM&O Rails-to-Trails Recreational District (District), in Chickasaw, Pontotoc and Union Counties hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged and women’s business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, disability, religion or national origin in consideration for an award.

Copies of the plans and documents may be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier’s check, Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder’s Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the GM&O Rails-to-Trails Recreational District as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.

Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “Bid for: TRAIL BRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS for the GM&O Rails-to-Trails District, Pontotoc, MS. Any bid in excess of $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.

Plans and Proposals may be secured from Engineering Solutions, Inc., at www.esiplans.com. Plans and Proposals may also be downloaded by Bidders for electronic bidding purposes ONLY. Questions regarding electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662)407-0193. Electronic bids will be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.esiplans.com.

Bids may be held up to 60 days from the date of opening for review of bids and qualifications of bidders prior to Contract award. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
