ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed or electronic bids for the construction of FEMA Emergency Repairs (4429-DR-MS) along Tanglefoot Trail in Pontotoc County, MS will be received by the GM&O Rails to Trails Recreational District at Three Rivers Planning and Development District located at 75 South Main St. Pontotoc, MS 38863, until Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids will be received until the designated date and time at the Three Rivers Planning and Development office. Electronic bids will also be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.esiplans.com.

Copies of the plans and documents may be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.

The work shall consist of: Unclassified excavation, Borrow material, Rip-rap, and Timber headwall construction.

Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “Bid for: Tanglefoot Trail – FEMA Emergency Repairs (4429-DR-MS). Any bid in excess of $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the GM&O Rails to Trails Recreational District, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.

The GM&O Rails to Trail Recreational District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
